Deputies are looking for a suspect who followed a Woodlands resident home from a bank and stole the money bag he was carrying.
On July 22, a 73-year-old Woodlands man was followed home in his car from a Chase bank location at Interstate 45 and Sawdust Road by a black male suspect, described as being between 20-25 years old, 5-feet-7 inches tall with a medium build. The suspect was wearing blue jeans, a white T-shirt, a checkered shirt with a collar and white shoes.
The suspect came up behind the man as he was walking from his car to his home on North Summer Star Court and stole his money bag.
A neighbor saw the incident and gave chase, but could not catch the suspect, who fled in a black Lincoln LS that was parked on South High Oaks street.
Anyone with information concerning this crime should call the Montgomery County Sheriff's Office dispatch 936-760-5800 or Crime Stoppers at 800-392-STOP (7867).
