District 1 – Lt. Jim Fleming (North County)
A 40 year old female from Azle, TX, was arrested at 2:00am, March 1, in the area of Hwy 105 and Douget by Deputy S. Degner for two warrants for bond forfeiture out of Parker County. The female had been stopped for a traffic violation. She was transported to jail.
A 38 year old male from Willis was arrested at 8:30pm, March 1, in the 14700 block of Rogers Road by Cpl P. Smith for a criminal mischief warrant out of Montgomery County. The Deputy was conducting an investigation. The male was transported to jail.
On March 4, Deputy J. Kader made a traffic stop on a vehicle, containing three occupants, in the 11700 block of Calvary Road. Upon approaching the vehicle the Deputy could smell the odor of marijuana emitting from the vehicle. During the ensuing investigation the Deputy detained two of the occupants for possession of marijuana. A 20 year old male from Willis and a 21 year old male from Huntsville were arrested at 5:01pm and transported to jail.
A 21 year old male from Huntsville was arrested at 6:42pm, March 5, in the area of FM 1097 and I-45 by Deputy J. Kader for five Conroe PD warrants. The Deputy had made a traffic stop on a vehicle the male was a passenger in. The male was taken to jail.
On March 6, Deputies K. Underwood and A. Terrell were dispatched to the area of FM 2432 and FM 1485 on a possible intoxicated driver being followed by a citizen. The vehicle had been seen swerving on the roadway and running other vehicles off the road. The Deputies located the vehicle and made a traffic stop in the 12100 block of FM 2432. Deputy Underwood noticed a strong odor of alcohol emitting from the female. The female attempted the field sobriety tests but could not finish any. The 43 year old female from Willis was arrested at 7:56pm, charged with DWI and taken to jail. Once at the jail it was found out the female had been convicted two previous times for DWI. Her charge was enhanced to DWI 3rd or more, a felony three charge.
A 29 year old female from Willis was arrested at 4:21pm, March 6, in the area of Rogers and Straughter by Deputy K. Albritton for a possession of marijuana warrant out of Montgomery County. The Deputy was investigating a disturbance call. The female involved in the disturbance had left the location when the Deputy stopped her. She was taken to jail.
On March 7, Deputies K. Underwood and A. Terrell were sent to the 16800 block of Rogers Road for a disturbance in progress call. On arrival the Deputies met with a female who stated her former common law husband had been coming by at odd hours for the past two days trying to gain entry in the house. He was told to leave numerous times. He attempted to get in at 5:00am on March 7 and was not able to. At 10:00am, March 7, the female and her 21 month old son attempted to leave but were unable to get out due to a screwdriver being wedged into the front door and jamb and a wooden plank wedged under the handle of the back door. While interviewing the female, the male was seen standing in the tree line near the house. The 20 year old male was arrested at 1:20pm, charged with unlawful restraint and taken to jail.
On March 7, Deputy W. Adams was notified of a family violence assault in the 12800 block of Andwood Lane. The Deputy met with a female complainant who advised she and her husband (whom she has been separated from) got into an argument that turned physical. As she was walking out the door the male grabbed her around the neck. She was able to free herself and make it outside where the male grabbed her by the hair throwing her to the ground and punching her on her right eye. The male left the location and was located by Cpl Bonner in the 11800 block of Calvary Road. During the investigation marijuana was located in the male’s vehicle. The 25 year old male from Splendora was arrested at 9:50am, charged with assault and possession of marijuana and transported to jail.
District 3 – Lt. Darrel Conn (East County)
On 3/4/10 Deputy Layman conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle on FM 1485 @ Vick Rd. for speeding. During the stop he observed the driver hide something in the back seat. Upon searching the vehicle the Deputy located a pill bottle containing Hydrocodone in the back seat. The bottle was unmarked and there was no prescription. The suspect, a 27 year old male was arrested and charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance.
On 3/6/10 Deputy Amstutz was dispatched to the 20000 block of Hwy 59 in reference to a disturbance call. Upon his arrival of the victim he learned that the suspect had struck the victim in the face and eye with an open hand. The victim had a swollen eye consistent with her claim. The suspect, a 21 year old male was arrested and charged with Assault Family Violence.
On 3/9/10 numerous MCSO Deputies responded to the 20000 block of Southwood Oaks Drive in reference to a Burglary call. The home builder at that location had observed several individuals loading a new stove in the back of a pickup truck. The builder then chased the suspect where he attempted to cut off the suspects. The two vehicles collided and five Hispanic male suspects fled into the woods. A perimeter was set-up by MCSO, HPD, DPS and Pct # 4 Constables. HPD’s helicopter was also utilized. Five suspects were found and taken into custody and charged with Burglary of a Habitation and Engaging in Organized Criminal Activity.
On 3/9/10 Deputy Amstutz was dispatched to Williams Airport in reference to a Trespasser Call. Dispatch advised that the suspects were driving in their car recklessly on the airport runway and doing donuts in the area. Deputy Amstutz located the vehicle after it left at FM 1314 @ Old Sorters Rd. The suspects all admitted going to airport willingly and trespassing on the property despite numerous signs posted in the area. All three male suspects were arrested and charged with Criminal Trespass.
District 5 – Lt. Don Lacy (Northwest County)
On 03/03/10 Deputy Durbin responded to the 1300 block of Snug Harbor in regards to an Assault. Investigation revealed that the male and female occupants at this location had been involved in a disturbance and during the altercation the male had struck the female in the head with a golf club. The female was treated and released at the scene by EMS while the male was arrested for Assault and placed into the Montgomery County Jail on an undetermined bond.
On 03/03/10 Deputy Lowe responded to the 24100 block of Old Dobbin Plantersville Rd. in regards to an Assault. Investigation revealed that the male and female residents at this location had been involved in a physical altercation and the female had displayed a knife while making threats. There were no injuries sustained during the altercation. The female was arrested for Aggravated Assault (Family Violence) and placed into the Montgomery County Jail on $30,000 bond.
On 03/04/10 Deputy Rex conducted a Traffic Stop in the 16100 block of SH 105 West. Upon making contact with the female driver and conducting a cursory investigation, the driver was administered several standard field sobriety test. Ultimately the driver was arrested for Driving While Intoxicated and placed into the Montgomery County Jail on $600.00 bond.
On 03/08/10 Cpl. Peckne was traveling along the 13100 block of Walden Rd. when an oncoming vehicle veered into his lane forcing him to the shoulder. Upon conducting a Traffic Stop on the vehicle and making contact with the female driver it was believed that the driver may be intoxicated. After performing poorly on several standard field sobriety tests the driver was arrested and placed into the Montgomery County Jail for Driving While Intoxicated $600 bond and an outstanding warrant for Harassment $1,500 bond.
On 03/08/10 Deputy Neeley was sitting stopped at a traffic light in the 16200 block of SH 105 West when his vehicle was suddenly struck from behind. The impact was great enough to propel his vehicle into the vehicle in front of him. The driver of the striking vehicle attempted to flee the scene on foot but was caught and detained by Deputy Neeley even though Neeley sustained injuries during the crash. The deputy was treated and released at Conroe Regional Hospital and the male Suspect was arrested for Driving While Intoxicated and Fail to Stop and Render Aid and was placed into the Montgomery County Jail on an undetermined bond.
