GREAT ITEMS ON TAP FOR NEW DANVILLE’S JAZZY JUNQUE FUNDRAISING MARCH 26-28

Shoppers will delight in some great bargain ‘finds’ at the 2nd annual “Jazzy Junque & Other Great Stuff” fundraising sale set for the weekend of March 26-28 at Outlets at Conroe.

The sale will be held on Friday, March 26 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., Saturday, March 27 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Sunday, March 28 from noon to 5 p.m.

New this year will be a special "Early Bird" shopping opportunity on Thursday, March 25 from 3 p.m. to 7p.m. for a fee of $25.

Donations of unwanted items continue to be collected through March 1 for the sale, for which 100% of proceeds will benefit New Danville, the master-planned community for adults with mild intellectual and/or developmental disabilities.

Items include furniture, home accessories, electronics, sporting goods, housewares, infant/children’s items, art, garden/patio, jewelry/boutique, seasonal decorations, collectibles, tools, antiques, and boutique clothing.

The Outlets at Conroe shopping center located off I-45 at League Line Rd. (exit 91) is donating 8,000 square feet of retail space for the sale event. Two Men and a Truck moving company is lending their services to help pick up items, for which donation receipts will be provided for tax deduction purposes.

The mission of New Danville is to provide an integrated community for adults with mild intellectual and/or developmental disabilities such as Down’s Syndrome, autism, and traumatic brain injury from, for example, a car accident, stroke, brain tumor, or near drowning. It is designed to provide a solid foundation for those who seek to live as independently as possible among their peers, while enabling these adults to live, learn, work and grow emotionally, socially and spiritually in a safe, protective environment.

New Danville is the only community concept of its kind that offers an affordable, holistic approach to services by offering adult educational, skills training and vocational services, residential services, housing for residents, transportation, and recreation.

Those who are interested in having their donated items picked up should contact the New Danville office at (936) 344-6200 or info@newdanville.org for the drop off location or to schedule a pick up. Those who are interested in volunteering for the event should contact Odette D’Agostino at (936) 788-2060 or email to Odette@dagostinocompanies.com.
