    Conroe heads to football playoffs

Photo by Eric Christian SmithConroe High's win over College Park on Friday night propelled the Tigers into the state playoffs for the third straight year. They'll take on Westfield at 7:30 p.m. Friday at Woodforest Bank Stadium in Shenandoah.

    The Conroe Storm was a team in the American Professional java

    The Conroe Storm was a team in the American Professional java hosting Football League based out of Conroe, Texas. They were originally slated to play in the Ultimate Indoor Football League before that league's image hosting aborted merger with the NAIFL. After it appeared the NAIFL wouldn't play, they moved to APFL. In their first season, they finished 2nd in the league but lost at home to Iowa Blackhawks in the playoffs managed hosting. In the 2008 season, they finished in first place in the APFL South Division, however due to league problems and games being cancelled on them linux hosting, they declined to play in the championship game and withdrew from the league.
