Nancy Parsons will be the featured artist at The Linda Watson Gallery art show Saturday. The Ice Rink at The Woodlands Town Center will be open for a preview this weekend. The Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion transforms into a giant playground of fun this weekend for the 14th Annual Children's Festival. Montgomery County will distribute 1,000 doses of the H1N1 flu vaccine at a walk-through clinic from 9 a.m. to noon Saturday at Conroe High School. Keep up-to-date on all the action in the first weekend of high school football playoff games.

The Conroe Tigers take on the Westfield Mustangs tonight in the high school football playoffs. Montgomery County will distribute 1,000 doses of the H1N1 flu vaccine at a walk-through clinic Saturday. Conroe honored 14 city workers Thursday who died while employed by the city since the 1970s. Two Conroe area residents and a police officer were honored Thursday. A new smoking ban in public places, employment centers and city parks will take effect in March, after a petition to repeal Conroe’s new smoking ordinance failed.
